1 1/2 ton progress

Hi everyone, I got the doors together, I had a vintique bailey channel kit, now the clips that hold the seals on at the bottom of the window opening, I decided not to use them.... fear of scratching the door glass or the window tint. So out with the Sikaflex ! I painted the bumper last weekend..... not too many sandflies stuck to it ..... Thought mudflaps on the front of the bumper would look OK.
Here's a few photos, Steve. Yeah... looks like I mucked up loading the photos....

Steve, your truck is truly something to behold. You did really nice work and should be proud of the result. That front bumper should deflect any roos that get in your way. I'm getting ready to install my door glass and am interested in how the sikaflex worked out for you. What type did you use (#227 or #252)? Thanks.

Thanks for the kind comments Joe, if the Flathead runs 1/2 as well as my 302 Cleveland powered daily driver .... it'll be just fine. Now the adhesive I used for the window seals was the stuff in the photo, the hardware store I went to didn't stock sikaflex. The sikaflex grades I've used were fairly thick , this Soudal product I hadn't used before, but it flows very nicely. I clamped the seals to the door frame with the biggest bulldog clips I could find and left for 24hours. I gave one seal a pull and when I saw the panel moving a figured she was glued on well.
Regards, Steve.
