Just when I was thinkin the Space Cruiser was to much I see the last's. My grampa was a shoemaker in Winkler Manitoba but also did canvass and tack work for the farmers in the area. We had some old colony Bergthal Mennonites and Hutterites living in the surrounding villages so we were exposed to some real old buggies and yes, buck wagons. Thanks WB3, very much appreciated.

I'm thinkin' this privateer guy should come by and tack down some canvas on the roof of my woodie.... Mennonites are right up my alley. Except for the not drinking beer part.......
Give me your old boots and set me down beside a sole stitcher and behind a long arm 1921 Singer and I'll give you back a new set of feet and save your sole at the same time, but your canvass would be my short cut to hell.
May not drink beer but I've had some of the finest pumpkin wine and green apple soda you've ever refreshed yourself with.
Been admiring your workmanship for a while GB, both the restoration and wood working, you are an amazing talent. Trying to think of a way to make my 78 F350 look like a woodie when I start to do the body work on it. Showed my wood worker neighbor your thread last week, took him a full 2 seconds to give me a dirty look and spout, "I can't f***ing do that" and he walked off pissed. HA HA HA HA HA HA....... thank you
