I had the ones Smallello used and I did not like the crimp in the tubing when door was wide open. I like the design of the electric life product you used so I ordered them.
I actually looked into a hyme joint to see if I could make the ones I have work but it would have been totally to big.
On a side note if anyone on here needs a power window kit, bought from Mid-Fifties with install kit, never been used. I bought the Nu-Relics. It is yours for the cost of shipping.

The only curved glass I have is the windshield everything else is flat. I bought the power window drives from EZwire and the glass kit was from Midfifty. I had no problems installing the kits..
John,
I used EZ wire to wire my truck like you did.
When I connected the power windows they are on all the time. I assumed they would be on in the acc or ign position only.
Is the power window circuit always on for you too?
I looked at the back of the fuse panel and the power window circuit is wired to the BATT not ACC. I assume it was supposed to be wired to the ACC. I am going to call Dolphin tomorrow and see what they say.
I called Dolphin and they tell me the power window circuit is an "always on" circuit. He said I could wire it to any ACC circuit if I want it to be only on with the key.
Since I have lighted switches I will do that but I will use the power window circuit with a relay to control it.

gerrymoe, is this window kit still available?
I'm a newbie but I have window issues and saw this post so I had to ask...

Hi. Sure, check out https://www.nu-relics.com
Just be careful if your door is keeping the vents or you got single glass windows. Then what kind of switches you would like to pick.
Maybe on eBay or Amazon you can get a better price, with some patience and no rush. I bought this nu-relics kit for my 1952 F3 Ford truck and it is a direct fit install. Great build no anoying noise from the little motor. The only thing I did not like much are the power switches as they come in cheap plastic chrome... should be metal instead... Regards
