I'm normally not a fan of the "granpa gold" beige bronze whatever it is, however between your's and mine, I do prefer yours overall. The one I posted is one of their advertising/promo/show rigs so it has to be over the top. I think in an OEM color and less fender gap (either lower or bigger tires) it'd look nice and clean.

We call it "old man gold"
Not a fan of the color but I would certainly find a way to cope if that dually was parked in my driveway
Weak, go all out. Local builder makes these things. Started life as an Excursion and evolved from there. Megacab dally flares make for a pretty damn clean look IMO, haven't liked any of the other flares on dully Excursion conversions.
This is one of the few I've come across that has turned out with the fenders looking good.
I was just hoping someone had done the switch and could provide their experience.
Thanks, Max
I've not seen that thread; not for a lack of desire, as you can see by the comments above, but more likely a lack of coin. If you build one, remember our FTE golden rule: take lottsa pics!
I like the megacab fenders they make a nice clean installation. It's funny I just saw a single megacab dually fender on CL and was wondering how that would look. Anything I do will have almost have to be a bolt on situation because my fabrication skills are nonexistent. For example I just removed the total front suspension from my race 68 Barracuda and building a new framework to install a set of race struts. This is a job that would take a good fabricator maybe 2 or 3 days and I have been working on it part time for a few weeks. I finally got it tacked together but I know my welder friend will probably grind out my junk welding and do it right.
If it looks like installing a dually rear would be too much trouble I will look at a kit to install DRW on my rearend. That would work fine because I'm not after additional weight handling but only stability.
