I have been a ham since 2008, my call is W5DWH. I worked in the electronics industry for 10 years, then taught electronics for 12 years. I have lived on the farm my whole life. It has always been my dream as my grandpa and dad made a living here but times changed so I had to get a real job for awhile. 
I really need to get a tower in this field where my house is but the wife will kill me.
BTW in case I didn't mention I'm also a priority 10.

Head to the build site for the '17's. Start building your truck and a bubble will pop up to chat to someone...you can also click the summary tab and there will be a chat radio button about a third of the way down the page, it is small. Chat hours are 10am-11pm(not sure about time zone...maybe it knows based on zip?) M-Sat. They are more than happy to track orders etc. good luck!

Last 5 - 69572 - Week of Sept 26th at the Kentucky Truck Plant 2. Super excited.
For those that have picked up their truck, can you let us know what the dealers are trying to upsell? locked in Oil change and tire rotation for 3 years, warranty etc. Also what rebates are you seeing? Any incentives like 0% APR for 60 months?

Hey DDT, went through a motivated dealer, retail order, priority 10. I've been getting regular updates from the GM of the dealership...latest being earlier this week when he let me know the wiring harness/looms were delayed. He's been working with his regional Ford rep on my behalf to get my truck scheduled. I don't believe I've been changed to priority 01...but I wouldn't put it past them. Customer service is outstanding, and they move a lot of truck inventory in corn country. I will also say that the "OK to buy/sell" is helping get the system moving in the right direction. Trucks ordered in July/Aug are receiving VIN's and production dates...Ford is pushing hard.

I must have gone through a tornado and into OZ land. "This does not look like Kansas, Toto". Salesgirl is great but I am not sure she is fully engaged with the Yellow Brick Road to the Ford Oval.

Don't you know it. I texted my friend at ktp this morning to find out if they were working today but he works m-t 4/10s so he doesn't know. Does anyone else have a source

Hey good news my friend bowls with one of the Union reps at ktp and my friend gave him my vin# to look it up. He did and said he's going to bump it up . Wow I can't believe it and I didn't ask for anything. Will see next week if it holds.

My salesman orders the trucks for the dealership. He ordered 30 the day the order banks opened. Some were built June 26 but they still haven't received any. Guess they are sitting in a lot waiting on parts (one does have the trailer camera that I know of)
