Temp difference

So I've been noticing a 20 to 30 degree temp difference between the block and water outlet temp sensor. I vaguely remember reading something on the net saying that is about right but I wanna ensure that the engine is running efficiently. I don't notice any issues with how the engines running but since I've been only running this way I don't think I'd notice if it was wrong.

Sounds reasonable. Since most of the heat transfer happens in the cylinder heads around the exhaust valves.
