I wish I knew for sure. Since Ford put 192 degree thermostats in these engines from the factory, I would think 200-210 degrees would not be bad on the engine. I understand the hotter we can run a motor without damaging anything would be idea because we would burn the fuel a lot better and have less sludge build-up. My engine has a high volume water pump and a 192 degree thermostat and runs around 160 degrees. I have to block off part of the radiator in winter to get it warmer.
