Hi i need help to find out if i can just order timing chain guides or if i have to buy a kit? And if i can just get the guides should i order them or go to the dealership? The motor is a 351 modified.
351M engines don't have timing chain guides. It's just the chain, cam gear, crank gear and fuel pump eccentric.
In the picture, this engine doesn't have the eccentric.
Ok thanks because the whole reason i started looking is that me and my dad changed the oil and found plastic in it and then we took the oil filter off and there was plastic all over it. Would you have any clue what it would be from ?

Yes, the cam gear.
The OEM cam gear has nylon teeth that will start to disintegrate, that's probably what you're seeing.
Make sure the replacement gear is cast iron.
OEM gears start out like the first pic, end up like the second pic.
