Great looking truck!
We picked up a 2002 V10 Excur last year and have a 2003 5.4L Exped.
Do you know if the spark plugs have been changed?
Ours had 104k and still had the OEM plugs.
If the plugs have not been changed you are getting into the mileage range where one might start working loose and it would be a good idea to retorque them.
In ours the plugs on the driver's side were fine, all the plugs on the passenger side were a tad loose.
The V10 heads thru 2002 had 4 threads for the spark plugs and went to 8 threads in 2003.

Thanks!
I changed the plugs a few weeks ago just to be sure. I'll tighten them up here before it gets cold out and probably check them again in the summer, replacing them about every 50k miles.
Today I finished up the leveling kit and shocks (pictures to come once the tires are installed).
Next is new seat covers, then saving up for header back exhaust since a few of my studs have snapped, but not leaking yet.
Oh, got a SCT X4 for it a couple weeks ago too, made a huge difference!

Pretty excited to have something I can play with again, that has 4 wheels at least.
