I have an '87 E-350 RV with a carbed 460 motor. I cannot find the O sensor anywhere. I've checked both exhaust manifolds all the way to the muffler and cannot find one. Is it possible it doesn't have one? Also, should it have a catalytic converter because it doesn't?
I'm trying to track down a miss/ rough running problem. I've changed plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil. It idles ok but when under load it has what I can only describe as a miss. Thought I'd try replacing the O sensor. The vehicle has 84k and doesn't look like it has been serviced regularly. Lots of parts look original.
