remote doors Lights

remote doors Lights
On my rv I have electric door locks but not remote locks. anyone have any ideas how to complete the system to make into remote locks. I bought remotes on the chance that the system is there but not active. Well nothing worked with the remotes. So I guess that some pieces are not installed, but I dont know which ones.
Also the F series has a headlight switch with daylight position for lights, the rv does not. Anyone switched the system? The F series has it that lights are on for in grill/bumper running lights stay on till high beams selected.
Again any help on either appreciated.

My 99 E350 headlamp switch socket had a blank opening, so I checked the tab out, it is what you are talking about, I shoved a blade in there and run it to a switch I have some off road lamps on, so I'll not run down the battery by leaving them on, as it only has power when the ignition is on.

Pull the socket, I made certain there was a tab on the light switch in the blank hole, I'm sure yours is the same, I needed to replace the headlamp switch at the time, I think the conversion vans use it by adding driving lights, I swear I've seen them with driving lights.

Been a rough one, since the doctor told me how easily I can break my hip I've stopped hopping out on the ground, so I've been dragging out the jack so I can remove the wheels to get access to reach around and bleed/adjust the brakes, working harder on what should be simple. LoL
