I have been searching, can someone tell me how many teeth are on the rings that trigger the crankshaft position sensor and the camshaft position sensor for a 2000 V10.
I think it is 40 - 1 for the crankshaft, but not sure. Have found nothing for camshaft.
I think the cam sensor setup is just a single pulse when it gets TDC on cylinder #1 so there's no "tone ring" - just a special area on the cam sprocket, like so:
