I often have to back a 7x18 enclosed trailer from the road into driveways on various jobs. I just sold a 2001 F450 bucket truck that had strobes for 4 way flashers.
Is there a kit available to do something similar to my 2014 F250 XLT? A self install would be good, but I'm at the point in life where I'm not afraid to hire it done if it doesn't break the checkbook. I own a business. People hire me to do a specialty thing. So I understand that sometimes it's easier and cheaper in the long run to pay someone who does it every day.
I'm not really interested in a controller box with several patterns. Just something to strobe when I activate the 4 ways with stock switch if possible, and be able to retain stock turn signal operation.
Here's the one I had mounted in my truck when it was plowing, you will have to paddle drill the light housings so the bulbs can fit it and all the cables need to be run inside the frame and tucked away, then you'll have to run all that cabling through the firewall to hook to the controller. https://www.zoro.com/wolo-strobe-sys...A&gclsrc=aw.ds
I also have mounted in my grill, this system, which I like much better.
Maybe the way to go is like Mike and BandB suggest and just mount some in the grill and maybe try to use an upfitter switch or cool rocker switch like these: https://www.otrattw.net/
I had hide-a-way strobes in my 2004 from Federal Signal. They were like $400 for the whole kit. They met expectations, but the LED technology is sooo good now, I don't think I would even look at actual strobe bulbs anymore.
I owned my 2004 for 11 years. The strobe bulbs rubber base deteriorated over time and I ended up having to do a lot of sealing with silicone. The only other option would have been to buy new light housings.
Now that I live in Arkansas I won't be plowing snow anymore, so I don't plan to put any strobes or LEDs on my '16.. But if I did, I would be trying to find a way to do it without drilling into my factory light housings.

I'm not big on drilling the truck just like I'm not big on cutting factory sound system wiring. It's why I always buy the correct harnesses for plug & play with sound systems.
That said, I'm leaning toward something I can attach around the grille area with 2 sided tape or if I have to drill & fasten, inside of the grille someplace where holes/fastners aren't visible.
