Been seeing people with chrome door handles. It would go good with my theme. I was wondering what brands to look out for and what to avoid. I really don't want cheap junk. I'm all about quality. Thanks in advance
I have them, they look great...but they are all just stickers that stick over your existing stuff. clean good with acetone to get all the wax off and they will stay put.
LMC truck sells actual chrome replacement handles and they also sell covers.
Part Numbers 49-7435 and 49-7436 on page 55 of current catalog online. The covers are on page 62.
I have always liked the newer Platinum door handles. The are PTM with a chrome latch handle. They are hard to find though.

You are very welcome. I love them but it comes down to how much I spend. The billets are a bit much for me, but I'd pay for the chrome or a nice set of PTM. However, if I can get the platinums without breaking the bank, I will. They are my favorite.
I have an 06 XLT with the textured black plastic door handles. I just don't like the wax build up I get in the textured part after waxing my truck. I'm looking at these chrome door handles (plastic I'm sure) but for $60.00 delivered to my door I'm going to take the chance.
I would not get plastic ones, I had them and they are too thick, so the handle rubs when you open them.
Search Amazon or eBay for TFP 441KE, they are polished 304 stainless for the same price. I have them and they are much better. The tailgate handle is a different part number.

Thanks for the heads up on the chromed plastic handles. I'll definitely go with the stainless covers as you suggested.
