Does any place sell real chrome (metal) door handles?

I always hated chrome door handles, but lately i thought it would be a nice touch on my black truck. I said i did not want a stick on cover that may fall off, so i bought replacement handles on ebay. They came today, i installed one and it SUCKED!!!!!!!!! the cheap plastic chrome was rubbing on chrome when you open it and it felt so cheap like they would break one day when i open it. Does any place sell an actual METAL chrome door handle?

these are the ones i bought from ebay

FORD F250 F350 SUPER DUTY PU Pickup TRUCK FRONT REAR OUTSIDE CHROME DOOR HANDLES | eBay

DO NOT BUY THEM! i contacted the seller for a refund, but have yet got a response.

Sorry i cannot help you out on the subject but i am looking to do the same thing and i would also much prefer chrome handles made out of metal, whenever my door freezes shut up here in the winter im afraid i might rip the handle off the door.

I think auto anything sold them too. Billet aluminum and possibly polished.... And again, not cheap. I believe it would have cost me close to $600 to do all four doors

just pulled some google foo and found this site that has a few different options

Stainless Steel and Chrome and Fender Trim Molding by TFP, Inc.

i got a few links off of this place as well the best one was this i believe

Ford Truck World - METAL door & tailgate handles (Super Duty)

after just reading i think they might be just peel and stick metal covers im not sure might want to double check this

Would a product like this make it slightly less easy to break into the vehicle through the door handle like the OEM ones are prone to?

You mean the fact that they are metal and not plastic? good question. Just not sure how strong this metal really would be. Wont crack. but maybe bend with a screw driver? again, if its a good solid peice of metal maybe a bit harder...

I have a set of the plastic chrome ones on my '99 and they have been on for nearly 3 years with no problems so far.
The flat piece that sticks onto the larger flat part of the handle must be installed correctly-the first one I installed then found out about this-one side/edge is beveled!
That said my right rear door is installed wrong and the chrome cover just ever so slightly binds when the door is opened but ist hardly noticeable, the rest are fine as are my mirror covers and tailgate latch cover-I use regular wax/polish regularly and chrome polish a few times a year to keep them all looking nice.

Now i am thinking maybe just have mine painted to match my color? gloss black becuase i have an XLT they are black plastic and after a while the plastic fades and is a very light shade gray now and looks back on a black truck. My new question is where can i buy 4 replacement handles to be painted? besides the deaer of course!
