06 cruse control

06 cruse control
So im getting a 2006 f350 xl that did not come with cruise control. I see there is a kit online cruise control store but it's over $450
now from what i gater the kit is basically a new steering wheel, and spring clock. Now, i can get a used steering wheel off ebay or a junk yard easy enough. Not sure about the spring clock because according to ford parts web site its the same part number with and without cruise control
Has any one done this? I do know thats because it's a drive-by-wire truck I have to have the PCM reprogram my local dealerships that will do it for 39 so i cant complain their.
