Hey I posted up a couple weeks ago that I was looking for some help on how hard it is to put in cruise control on a 06 XL. Maybe I didn't ask the right question but I'm new to this so bare with me. I see that they sell the buttons, is that all I have to do is put those in? Any help or suggestions is apprecieated. Thanks!

 

Since these trucks are all drive by wire there really isnt a kit you can buy to hook up to the throttle cable anymore. What i did, was i found the steering wheel on ebay with the buttons on it. Took it to my dealership and had them put it on and then program it. Since all the cruise is handled through the computer they have to program it. And the wireing harness is already in the steering column. Mine works like a charm. I dont know about buying the buttons and putting them on. Didnt try it.
