The more block the more leverage the axle has on the spring, therefore the more tendency to axle wrap. The more wrap, the more hop you'll get. The more hop, the more tendency to twist the u bolts and shoot the ****ing lift blocks straight out of that bitch.
The more lift blocks you stack, the more likely it's unstable enough to allow such a thing.


So I'm really a fan of running a single block at the height you need, or a "zero rate" add a leaf and a new center pin.

You can always shackle flip the rear, and drill the front hanger to run super duty front springs. Very common swap on the 78/79 f250 front end. Stock excursion springs are about stock height. Stock standard gvwr springs are a 2" ish lift. 2" lift springs are a 4" or so lift. Etc. Get the front bolts, too. They are like $15 each.
