Leaf spring

So after lowering my truck a bit I found out that one of my leaf springs is cracked. And it happened to be the top leaf that attaches to the shackles. So my question is are the leaf springs (top ones) the same on any newer f150's? So I can fine one in a junk yard?

what kind of truck is yours?

When looking for a new one you must make sure to measure the length and width of the spring to ensure you have the right one.

Years 80-96 should be interchangable. Make sure that if you have a 4wd you get it from a 4wd. If you have a f-100 you can get it from a f-150 but you must make sure its a 2wd.

Tell us what your truck is and we can help a bit more.

Any other questions just let us know.

2wd has narrower springs, so stick with 2wd trucks when looking for a used one.

Yep your springs will be 2 1/2 inchs wide. Any year from 80-96 on a 2wd f-150 or f-100 will work for your truck.

Remember that the older the spring than more than likely its going to have more sag to it. So i suggest to try and find the newest year you can find.
