Ok, apologies first, this is not a question about my ford truck.
Here's my dilemma, I've got a 52 Packard that I've just about finished the restoration and I'm trying to figure out how to remove the lock from the trunk? There is no key and there is no access to the lock from the back side, it's got a double-skin. So, is there any way to remove that lock or can a key be made with the lock still in place?
You could get a locksmith to come out and open it up, IF they can pick the lock for you. I think if it were me, I'd see about pulling the back seat crawling through the trunk tripping the latch and then remove the lock, take it to a locksmith and have the key made, If they can even make a key for a 52 Packard, Do you have any Blank keys they can use in case they don't have any??
