White scale/powder residue inside air cleaner outlet tube assemby
I have a 1989 F350 w/7.5L engine that I'm working on.
Today I removed the air cleaner outlet tubes and was surprised to find a scaly, power like white residue inside.
It was not in the air cleaner or filter, just inside the outlet tubes.
What are your thoughts of the cause?
Too much flash has hidden some of the residue, I can retake if needed.
Also took some pics of the throttle body.
