I was fueling up today and looked down into my fuel fill tube or whatever you call it and it just didn't look right. Isn't there supposed to be a silver flap in there?
No flappy thingies on our trucks. The early models had a restrictor plate in there to reduce the size of the holes. The later ones did not come with that so you can use the large nozzle at the truck pumps to fill up.
Yea our early 99 has the smaller inlet, that makes you not able to use the hi flow nozzles at the pumps. I was at a few stations that actually did not have the normal size nozzle when I was driving that truck, and just made it to the next station.
