So I was at a dealer about to Make my order and they are telling me that with a special order I would be looking at December best case scenario before the truck comes in
With dealer stock he guessed early November.

Is it going to take that long?
I'm ordering a f-350 short wheel base. Want the 350 for the increased payload but short wheel base because I am in sales and need to be able to park in garages...so they are saying the f350 won't come in with dealer stock in short wheel base.

 

I certainly do not know and I do not believe anyone here has that knowledge for sure other than those at Ford and they are sworn to secrecy. My best guess is no it will not take that long. And for that matter a special order after the "OK to Sell" date which is a couple of weeks away should be much faster than a dealer stock placed at this time which has numerous variables contributing to their time line. A quick check at your next closest dealer would be in order to either confirm or dispute the information which you were presented.
