so true about the GMC blowing hot air out of the front seats... i'm not sure what genius designed that. We've go the same issue in our Yukon luckily it's got a great rear HVAC so the kids keep cool / hot.
I don't have a "link" proving better leather, but the King Ranch leather has different care instructions in the owners manual. The Platinum leather is also different from the KR leather, but higher grade.
The Fusion is not an expensive car. What do you think the leather would be like in a Malibu?
Rutcutter,
I would love to get the massaging seats in the Lariat, but cannot find the option on the build site. It's the only option that I still want but don't seem to be able to add. I've been hesitant to place my order until I talk to a rep next week at the Anaheim show.
Thanks, and being a new member, I can't tell you how I appreciate all the information that you and other members have provided me.

I don't see messaging seats as an option for Lariat on the build site either. Rutcutter, do you have a source that states otherwise? I too would like the option to add these seats w/o going KR/Platinum. Has anyone tried them, either in the current 150 or on test SD's? I'd be curious to know how noticeable the effect is.

I drove an F-350 Platinum at an event here in KS a couple weeks back...the seat was "massaging" the whole time. Felt like rollers under my legs, with the lumbar cavitating from time to time. I don't know how relaxing it was tooling around a field, but on a long ride...especially with the extended range tanks (FINALLY) they will be a very welcome refresher.

Rut, I'm posting what the Lariat Ultimate Pkg (96U) includes from the order guide. It appears you have to order the King Ranch Ultimate (96K) in order to get the message seats (multi-contour).
I think the multi contour seats are the only thing you cannot get with the Lariat. I like the lighter interior of the Lariat, but really wanted the seats. The king ranch interior colors look really bad to me (greenish tint dark brown leather with orange thread and logos - really???). I love my current king ranch with the reddish brown seats, but will be going with brunello leather in the platinum this time. The leather in the platinum is a lot softer than the Lariat. I suggest sitting in each option in the 2016 f150 trucks before deciding.
BTW, the brunello looked way better in person than it did in the cell phone youtube videos.
