Hello all, new member on the forum but a long time SD owner. I'm looking to upgrade my SD for a new 2017 F250 Supercab. I've searched the forum before asking but found no reference. Does anyone know, will the 2017's have keyless ignition? It's just a small thing, I know, but I haven't had to use a key in my other vehicles for years now except in my 2008 F350.

Welcome to the forum.
Push button start is only available on King Ranch and Platinum models.
Yep, you'll have to get the crew cab with the lariat ultimate package. But the crew cab is far superior to the supercab, so get 'er done!
Crew cab is not necessarily "superior " to the super cab. Super cab trucks, generally speaking, have higher payload, sharper turning circles, and are better off road due to break over angle. The suicide rear doors are preferred by some for their wide open access. Crew cab is superior only if you need to carry extra passengers in the back. Otherwise, it simply costs more.

Yeah well since preferred options, payload ratings, passenger comfort, turning circles, etc., are purely subjective, I find the crew cab to be far superior like I said above. And in the case of wanting a push button start for the OP, I think he would find the crew cab far superior as well

If you want push button start, you're 100% correct: the Crew cab is far superior!
Not everyone needs a crew cab. Ive had my crew now for 12 yrs, and can count on one hand how many times ive had people in the back. I know some people need it though. It is nice with the extra room to pile stuff in the back, but its not worth the extra $2800 just for that reason. Why drive around in a 30ft long truck if you dont need too. Thats why im getting a scab for my next one. It will also give me a good excuse when my buddies want to take a trip, i can say, i dont have the room, Lets take your truck.

That would be one of the few times I would want a crew cab. I don't care for crossing the double solid line going over a hill, pulling out in front of traffic from any direction, looking out a windshield which hasn't been cleaned since taking dealer delivery 4 years ago, getting lost and not listening to the ones who know, tailgating 10 ft off someones bumper at 65 mph, driving in the far left lane 10 mph under the speed limit. I want control. Need I say more.
