I need to replace my OEM in dash 6 disk stereo. I've followed the instructions that I've found on here that shows how to repair these units, but when I cracked mine open, I found too many broken gears to mess with it.
So, if anyone has a good working unit lying around and would like to get rid of it, pm me!!
Wait... you opened it?!? That seems like an item that just can't be repaired IMO. Kind of like a sealed unit type thing. Anyway, they float around on here from time to time so keep a look out as I'm sure someone will have one to give away I already gave mine to Twitch because the one he had came from a truck without the entertainment center in the rear and so the sound and stuff didn't work correctly or I would give you mine.
Yeah, mine broke a while back and another member was nice enough to give me theirs but it did not have a rear entertainment option on it. It did however had a tape deck, which I was overly excited about. I scored Apoc's old one a while back so now I am back to normal.
I do have the single cd/tape deck with no rear dvd option still laying around if you want it. It is in my storage unit back in PA but I will not be back in that area until late August. Hit me up the last week of August if you can't find the one you are looking for and want a temp option.

Thanks for the offer, but I have one of those lying around also. I'm still old school. I have a lot of cd's and the changer is my savior on road trips!!
Check out the Jensen HD and Clarion HD radios. They are a little more stock looking the the disco light ones most people think of when the aftermarket word gets thrown around. I went through 3 oem ones having issues with the changer feature.
I mounted a cb under mine to fill the space, but one could just as easily mount a multi disc changer underneath in the same opening. The head unit has a standard av input on the back of the unit to work with a cd changer if desired.
