1978 Headliners - Custom or Standard?
How does the standard headliners fit and look?
Can you post pictures of how it looks in your trucks? I have the old one out of the truck so I'm considering to use it as a pattern for plastic, vinyl, or leather.

Does it have to be 78? I have a 73 with the stock headliner. I imagine they are the same

Check out this guy. He does an awesome job on his seat covers and headliners. Prices are pretty good too. FWIW I will be using him to do the seat and headliner in my truck. He is located in N.C. and ships all over the world. His work IMHO is second to none.

There are some that are just like cardboard, I had one that was white. Then there are ones covered with a perforated with small holes paper like covering, I have a red one in my 77.
There is also a vinyl covering that has the indentions in it. I had a black one and have a blue one in my 78 now. There are also the thicker padded ones with the 4 XLT buttons like used in the seat back. I have one of them in red and black.
More pics in a bit. For the most part the fit is the same in a regular cab. Other options I have seen are a chrome or white head liner ring that holds it up.

Awesome! Thanks, the original one that came out is just like your black one but since I changed the interior color I need to make one or buy one in tan.
