Anybody know of a good seat cover for these trucks? I had a generic mossy oak one on my '70, but it sucked. Never fit quite right, always coming off when you sit down.
I'm looking for something nicer for my '73, I'd like one of the ones that have pockets on the side or in front. I have a nice re-upholstered seat in my F100, but I don't really like getting it all dirty during the winter, or worry about screwing it up in any way. Seems like a lot of todays seat covers don't fit our trucks right. I've seen a lot of nice ones for the newer trucks. My friends truck is a split bench, '06...but he had some pretty sweat tough seat covers on it that fit great.
Probably not what you're looking for, but I swear those sarape (Mexican blanket) type covers aren't bad at all. You see them everywhere and they don't cost much.
My truck came with one that was dirty and old looking--I was planning to get another cover, but in the meantime I popped it in the washing machine and it looks new now.
Marathon seat covers, there made in Bozeman, Mt. I have one on my 78 supercab, it has pockets on the back of both seats and pockets in the front also. The pockets are options, the covers are made out of denier, tought stuff. I've had mine for about 2 years and there tough as nails. The fit isn't 100%, but they are custom made for each truck, I would say 95% perfect fit. Here is a pic.
