Modifying a warn winch bumper.
Has anyone tried to modify a late 80s warn winch bumper to fit our 73 through 79 trucks?
I was told by the seller not to bother because it would simply be easier to build one from scratch. I'm not convinced so I thought I'd ask those who know.

Big difference in a 73-77 bumper and even a 78/79 (the face curve and angle). And even bigger mount bolt pattern difference on a 80's and up.
You can mod anything to fit with a smoke wrench. Or just build one for our trucks.
There is a fellow FTE member that hand built the one on the green truck.
