All - I realize my question is not related to a ford truck, but it is related to a Ford Fairlane - a 1957 model actually.
My father is trying to get the old vacuum wiper motor to work, and I cannot find a rebuild kit anywhere. I think it's a trico motor, which may be common to a lot of cars from that area.
NumberDummy - any ideas for me for where I can get a rebuild kit for my Pop?
Please - He's not interested in a conversion. He's old school (just turned 70) and wants to fix it, not replace it if at all possible.
Thanks - I have no idea where else to post this question. Apologies Moderators.
Nothing wrong with "old school"
We used to rejuvenate wiper motors by putting a little bit of thin oil into the intake. Sometimes working the wiper arms by hand while doing so. Ford WIPER - 57-72 Car list - CG Ford Parts
I think these guys are still around, you might contact them.
They're so old school they don't have a website.
