So, who is in the Bismarck, North Dakota area?? If all goes to plan, I need to relocate to that area for a few months. I will still have my home here in Tennessee, but will be based out of Bismark for a while. The one thing I notice is there is not an FTE Chapter up there. Where am I supposed to post things North Dakota ish?

I'm from South Dakota, there's isn't any chapters here either, might have to get a Dakota's chapter going.
Normally us South Dakotan's don't cotton to North Dakotans, but since you've got a Ford I'll let it slide.
I think that you'll like it there if you can get over the -30F winters (that's not counting wind chill either). :-X12
I hope you enjoy the SNOW,the ICE, SUB ZERO temps, very short winter days and long cold winter nights. Pack your skis, your ice skates, ski-doos, down clothing and thermal underwear. Considering International Falls MN records some of the coldest temps in the US during the winter and North Dakota is generally on the same latitude, you will require these things for living happy.
Four wheel drive comes in handy, and ice fishing can be loads of fun. Our Canadian friends here @ FTE know the benefits of the winter living above the 46th parallel. Have fun. Best of luck!
{theo licks pen, and writes" memo to self, buy thermal long underwear.}
This sounds like fun.. I may freeze into a large solid lump. A bishopsicle.

You can still be our chaplain down here in Texas. I feel for you about the cold though, I'm being transfered to Korea in October. Cold and they fertilize the fiels in the summer with human waste. Yuk.

Good luck with North Dakota. I spent two years there and I couldn't stand it. The landscape there is so flat that you can see for miles. The winters wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for that damn wind. Let’s say its 10 F, with the wind chill it could be 20, 30, 40 below. The worst I saw was -53 with the wind-chill. As far as I am concerned they should give that state to the Canadians.
