Does anyone have any info on how to adjust the door windows on a '68? I've done what I think is right, but my driver side window seems to be leaning to the rear of the truck when you roll it up, and it binds.
You can loosen and adjust the division bar glass run and the run on the other side and find the sweet spot that it goes nice up and down while tightening it to not lose the spot. Also is the little plastic roller on the window channel in good shape and not trying to bind. Mabey you already tried this or someone else has some suggestions, let us know when everything comes up good? LOL Oh and the truck is lookin goood!

I've been trying the trial and error rout, seems I'm getting more error with a ton of trial The roller is in good shape, although it could use a shot of grease.
I've just recently resealed the entire door (both actually), and took the glass and wing out to paint the doors propper. I did leave 'witness marks' from where it was before, and apperently using those spots again didn't work. I've got the wing as high as I can get it, but the glass still seperates at the top, and I can't find anywhere to adjust the channel on the other side. The glass on the passanger side works like it did before I took the glass out. Did I miss something?
One of the windows on my crewcab was really tight after new felt in the runs and reassembling the doors I had it off the truck and just made sure evreything was in line and rolled the window up and down a kazillion times and lossened everything and just played trial and error for a while till it was feeling ok. are you sure one of the runs is not benta little pinching a little and binding up the window? there is a screw that holds the run on the opening side of the door and a nut on the run with wing window if my fading memeory is correct. I would go outside and check but it's raining pretty hard. Mabey later
Gotta love it. Went out and opened the door panels again to adjust the window yet again, and grease the roller up to see if I could get it working a bit better. Once in there, decided to pull the crank assembly to check the window manualy, and check out the crank assembly. Found a tight spot in the felt where the new wiper seals tied in. little finagleing with a screwdriver fixed that. The crank assembly gears were bone dry and dragging, that and the new felt were enuff to **** the window and bind. Amazing what a bit of grease can fix on these old trucks
You were right about that outside adjustment bolt for the track 460 Crew, don't get wet checking
