Rear Window Louvers

Hi Everyone,

I am new to this forum and I was wondering if anyone remembers the rear window louvers that you use to see in the back of the pickups? I once had some many years ago and I was wondering if there is any place I can get a rear window louver for my 68?

Welcome to FTE

Ford never made rear window louvers for trucks. 1969 and later Mustang/Mustang II/Pinto/Capri/Cougar & Fairlane/Torino/Montego's only.

Try autoanything.com for the louvers.

1967/72 F100/350 rear (back glass) windows are the same. 1973/79's are slightly larger.

Welcome to (FTE)!

I have used the louvers on a few 67-72 and 73-79 and they work well to
keep the sun off the back of your neck, plus they look good, for low cost!
You will have to know if you want the 1 peice, or 3 peice, for the sliding rear
window! You may have luck finding them from J.C. whitney.

p.s. heres a link to my gallery, and a pic of a 74 truck with the three peice,
installed on a sliding rear window.

Yea the louver was after market for sure. I forgot who made the louver or for that matter where I bought the louver. It was plastic and stuck up under the rubber that held the window in. I know somewhere out there I can find the louver it is just going to tak som looking around.

Thanks 68 Special

Thanks Wally,

I tried J.C. Whitney no luck there. I looked at the picture and I would even settle for a three peice like that one if I knew where to find the louvers.

Thanks 68 Special
