I recently noticed that the vacuum hose for the modulator coming off of the "T" on my intake looked like it was swollen and "sweating"...didn't look normal.
I proceeded to remove the hose from the "T" and was greeted with red transmission fluid...yay.
I figured the diaphragm was shot, confirmed it with a vac pump..so I went and bought a new NAPA unit, part #1-4657, black stripe and replaced both sections of soft vacuum line.
Before pitching the old one in the trash, I thought I'd verify the cause of the failure. Here's the pics....
