Throttle Cable Issue.
Hey all, I just swapped a used 351w into my 97 f350, it was from a 96 f150. I used the Intake from the 96, but the throttle body from my 97. I just fired it up today to find that the throttle blades don't close all the way, so the truck idles high. If I remove the throttle cable, the blades snap shut just like they should and the idle returns to normal, I can also push the blades shut when the cable is attached, idle returns to normal. Prior to the engine swap, the throttle cable worked fine and I didn't have this problem. Is there a way to adjust the cable so that it has a little more slack? Or are the upper intake manifolds different?. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
