bilstein shocks

I installed bilstein 5100 last augest. 2 of shocks are blown. Oil leaking down the tubs. I will post pictures.

Call them! I just installed a set of 4600s on the dually on Tuesday. World of difference!

Are they the correct length for your truck? Front or rear? If they have become the bumpstop they will fail.
FWIW I run Icons and they started leaking within a year. still function but leak.

Like you, I am absolutely amazed at how much better my trucks ride with the 5100 Bilstein's (just on the rear). I installed them last week in preparation for towing on some rough roads (I-75, not as rough as your trip to the Dells). Wasn't expecting to see the huge difference in the day to day driving. I live on a washboard dirt road, and boy was I pleased the first time I drove down the road. Since I wasn't expecting to see a difference there, I was pleasantly surprised.

Before heading home from NC, I will order the fronts and install them as soon as I can.
