Are they the correct length for your truck? Front or rear? If they have become the bumpstop they will fail.

Like you, I am absolutely amazed at how much better my trucks ride with the 5100 Bilstein's (just on the rear). I installed them last week in preparation for towing on some rough roads (I-75, not as rough as your trip to the Dells). Wasn't expecting to see the huge difference in the day to day driving. I live on a washboard dirt road, and boy was I pleased the first time I drove down the road. Since I wasn't expecting to see a difference there, I was pleasantly surprised.
Before heading home from NC, I will order the fronts and install them as soon as I can.
