Help
my check engine light came on so i took the truck to Cavalier Ford Greenbrier in Chesapeake,VA. There were a couple of codes 1) def sensor 2)def pump 3)egr cooler restricted . I have a carmax maxcare warranty . The warranty will pay for the def sensor and pump minus the deductible , but will not pay for the egr cooler because it is restricted . They did however say that the shop could pull the cooler and bench test it and then they would decide if they would cover it. but they also said restricted flow was not covered.
