Just showing some love I have for my truck, it took my wife, son and myself 2,800 miles over the last 9 days from SoCal to Jackson Hole WY and surrounding areas like Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks. Truck ran like a champ and brought us home safe! We did some 4x4'ing, day camping, fishing, hiking and other tourist stuff. Over the entire trip I averaged 15.5 mpg... Not bad considering the truck (8"lift on 37" mt's) that includes off-roading, lots of idling, mountain roads, 100+ deg desert stretches at 80+mph. Just when I get the thought of buying a new truck I take a trip like this and she treats me good and just want to keep her forever now. Truck now has 108,000 miles and counting.
If you love your truck also and want to post it here too, post away!
Glad you made it back and forth safely and your truck worked good. I'm a So. Cal. transplant to So. Utah. We went up to Yellowstone a few years ago and loved it, quite the magical place. We'll be going back now that we have our new dually. If you traveled on the 15 you drove right past our off ramp, just south of Cedar City.

Yup we were on hwy 15 from Salt Lake all the way south to Barstow, had dinner just south of you in St. George last night.
Few years ago we camped east of Cedar city near the Mammoth caves. Beautiful part of the country your in!! I'm jealous!
That is a wonderful place out there. We just got back from July 4th vacay to JH, YS and Tetons. Would love to live there, but have to win the lottery 1st!!
By the way, did you get a whiff of the grizzly? We had one walk out right in front of us driving on the west side of YS and man did it smell bad!! It was amazing to see all the wildlife in person.
This is our place, 23 acres of heaven right aross from Zion National Park.
Nice!! That looks awesome! Also like that big garage you got there!

It's some "noise study" they are doing on a few of the roads out there. That was me messing with it trying to make it go up...normal driving was just barely registering in the green.

Thankfully no! Didn't get that close to him, maybe 50 yards at the most. I have heard that you will smell them before you see them sometimes.
About the only critter we didn't get to see was a wolf, which would have been awesome but we saw just about everything else.
Amazing pics and nice truck. I would love to make it out there during the summer. Been out a bunch in the winter to ski but would love to do the same trip
