Glad to hear your tushy is doing ok.

Wife and I have a 3200 mile round trip in June and July. First to Moab, UT for a week of four wheeling and boon docking. Then to Grand Jct., CO for 5 days to the Country Jam for 4 days of country music festival. Then all the way to Rochester, MN for a surgical procedure at Mayo's and see some family in the twin cities and Brainard, MN. Then all the way back home to WY. Have to get the vacation before the surgery, don't you know? Won't be much four wheeling afterwards for 4-6 weeks.

These are the kind of stories I like to hear. Much easier on the ears than the gloom and doom threads. Sounds like a great trip. Always loved Maine. Used to go to Bar Harbor with the kids every few years. Nothing like fresh lobster.

I just got my truck this winter so I haven't had any long trips with her yet. I will be doing a 1,000 miler later this month for turkey season (expensive turkey). Did you learn anything about the truck on the trip? I am one of those guys that downloaded, printed and read the frigging manual waiting the seven weeks for delivery. I was taking a run with the Nav the other day and noticed that hitting the map button repeatedly showed different things. Must have been dozing that chapter!

I bought my truck in September and 6 weeks later did a trip from DFW to Rock Hill, SC and back. just under 900 miles each way, IIRC. I doubled the mileage on the clock with that one . Just turned 20k this past weekend and it still runs, rides, and handles like new! well, except for the tires I replaced 6500 miles ago... which were looking terrible but the replacements still look new!
