Very cool. Can you see the screen over the edge of the "armrest"?

I moved my OBDII port behind the knee panel, so as not to bump it all the time. You may want to do this, but remember to unplug it each time the vehicle is parked long-term.

For the most part, Tug, but will have a definite answer come this morning. Heading to brothers shop to install new clutch. However, I do like the way you snorkeled your giddyup. My issue though, with having a manual, my seat extends past the jump seat about an inch. If the piping can be squeezed between the 2 seats, without anything being compromised, then I'll go your route(come to think of it, it's only loom over the aluminum tube, maybe remove whats being squished). If so, I'll take the added height.
. My dumba$$ was in a hurry or just want paying attention when ordering the "arm", and it ended up being for a 5" phone, lol. So, with a little bit of persuasion, I removed the "retractable fangs" and affixed that piece to the "Collett" that locks into the swivel. Then, just used extreme velcro to attach tablet to it... Daughter said it looks like an airplane, haha

I think some of you guys have more monitoring equipment and gauges than you'd find in some hospital emergency rooms!

Even though some of it is over my head, I do find it educational.

My seats taper out a little at the bottom - you can see it in the picture. Yours looks the same, so there should be a wider gap at the bottom, giving you room to do as I have. I tested the full range of motion on the seats before I drilled, and I have never had an issue where the support arm is located.

You should see what I have on the shelf. I now have more troubleshooting equipment than I've seen in any shop. All I need at this point is to make a breakout box for injectors... which I have all the parts to make. I have taken this "hobby" to an extreme level - only because I have an engine that was overcooked before I bought it, and refused to swap it out before I knew for sure what the root problem was.
