Hi I'm new to this forum was looking for some help
I have a 1984 f250 and the tail lights are stuck on.
It's def not the brake lights because they light up brighter when I hit the brakes
I thought it may be the light switch so removed it and they are still on.
I would appreciate any help or direction
Thanks Brian
So with the light switch un-plugged you say you still have the tail lights on?
Have you pulled all the fuses to see if they go out?
Did you do anything to the wiring before this happened?
Truck have a trailer light plug that may have power to charge trailer batt.?
If they come up with nothing you will have to trace up the wiring. I would start at the rear lights and work to the front till you find what is powering them.

I could see the tail lights on the batteries went dead and it is not a dually but it does have dual batteries. This evening I went out there and the lights are out now and I plugged the switch back in and turned lights on and they lit up and turned off. This is odd to me and irritates me. I'm gonna try fuses tom if they are back on. Thanks for input. If you guys can think of anything I'll check it out. This is frustrating lol
