Guys I have read many posts but I'm trying to get some specific answers please:


Question 1: dpf/tune/ intake. This is the first mod I'm looking to do. Is it worth doing myself as its just bolts and elbow grease? I'm not a mechanic by any means, but if it's just hard work and following instructions I'm all in to save the labor costs. Question 2: I keep reading that the truck needs to complete a regen cycle before I do the work. Is that a must? It's only recently I have seen that said. In the past I have never read anyone say that has to happen first.

Question 3: EGR Delete. So this is my biggest confusion. I have spoken to a performance place near me, and am being told this is a lot of work, which means a lot of money. I'm being told that they will need to lift the body off the chassis to remove the EGR. I also seeing EGR blocking plates, EGR delete stystems ect, but I just can't find a definitive answer to what needs to be done. Of course I know the shop will try and convince me to do the most work because of money, but I really want to keep my 6.4 for a long time without big issues. Someone please
tell me what my best option is (link to product if you can), how much I should pay, can I do it myself ect ect?

I don't drive the truck hard, I'm just crapping myself something is gonna go seriously wrong and I'll end up in a world of money trouble. Like I said there are no engine mods on the truck so any and all advice is appreciated. And if you offer advice, please add a link to the product your talking about so I can have an idea.
