Amp research running boards

Just bought a new 2015 f350 fx4 lariat. Love the truck and power of the 6.7!! It has the amp research automatic running boards and I can't figure out how to keep them out when I wash my truck. I've seen videos of older models using the info screen but there's no place on my screen. Any help would be great

With the door open, put your foot on the step and push down while closing the door. Keep your foot there for a few seconds. The sensors will stop the boards from going up when they see the pressure and you can have them remain down while cleaning. To bring them back up when you're done, just open and close the door.

A really easy way to wash them is to spray on simple green and take a scrub brush and quickly scrub with light to moderate pressure. Rinse and they'll look like they are brand new.
