Word to the wise

Hey guys just got my order from rock auto. Just realized that I only ordered one of each trans mount which means I can only do one side boo.
Can I use 2 different manufacturers for the mounts would it make a difference,if I got the other side from the parts store. Can get it quicker than going back online.
Thanks dan

You could use different manufacturers. I like to stay with the same manufacturer, that way you're pretty sure they are going to fail around the same time. The problem is who really made the ones you have. I bought a TIMKEN bearing the other day but when I opened it it was clearly marked BOWER.
I get my RA stuff in two to three days.

It would help if we knew what you were working on.

Suggest that you add that to your signature block.

Yes, if they are factory style mounts there is always some wiggle room (slop) in them so you should have no issues.

You can change or add the signature block under the UserCP menu at the top left corner of each page.
