Canadian vin decode

I have been looking online for quite some time and this page seems to have lots of the answers i was hoping for. When i started trying to decode the vin i was sure it was a 1966 but the more i read into and look at the plate I'm not convinced. I have read many threads on here about the hard time the Canadian vin plates have provided and i called Ford Canada to see if i could get some further insight (left a message)
what i do now is its a F-350 with a 9 foot box it is red and i think it has the Inline 6 300
6993532L-205215B

any ideas?

It's not a 1966.

What I do know, it's an F350 with a 9' Styleside Express box, it's red with the 300 I-6.

Welcome to FTE

240/300 I-6's introduced in 1965, have the intake & exhaust manifolds on the right (passenger) side.

It's a 1965. It's not a 1966 because 1966 Canadian trucks use the same (11 digit) VIN and Warranty Plate as US trucks.

6 = 6 Cylinder Engine.

99 = Styleside Pickup.

35 = 350 series.

32 = 132" wheelbase.

L = Left Hand Drive.

205215 = 1965 Numerical Sequence of Assembly, the trucks specific serial number.

B = 6100-10000 lbs. GVWR

TRIM: 05 = Red Crush Vinyl & Red Wicker Pattern Vinyl (81A Standard Cab).

PAINT: RR = Red (exterior paint color-Canada only).

AXLE RATIO: 5.13-1 = Spicer/Dana 70 Rear Axle.

SERIES: F350.

W.B. 132

MAX GVW LBS: 8,000 lbs. Gross Vehicle Weight Rating.

ENGINE: SQ = 300 1V I-6.

TRANS: New Process 435 4 Speed Manual Transmission.

Thank you so much Numberdummy! I appreciate the prompt reply, It helps =D I'm hoping to get some parts and get it running again. I thought it was interesting it has Ford loopy company logo and not the block letters i usually see.

Welcome, please post some more pics when you get a chance. Man, I thought my M250 was geared low, yours is even lower, it's gonna be a real workhorse!

Decoded using the 1964/72 Ford Truck Parts Catalog, which can decode 1965 Canadian info, but not 1964.
