I have been looking online for quite some time and this page seems to have lots of the answers i was hoping for. When i started trying to decode the vin i was sure it was a 1966 but the more i read into and look at the plate I'm not convinced. I have read many threads on here about the hard time the Canadian vin plates have provided and i called Ford Canada to see if i could get some further insight (left a message)
what i do now is its a F-350 with a 9 foot box it is red and i think it has the Inline 6 300

When I started trying to decode the VIN .. I was sure it was a 1966, but the more I read into and look at the plate, I'm not convinced. It's not a 1966.
What I do know, it's an F350 with a 9' Styleside Express box, it's red with the 300 I-6.

It's a 1965. It's not a 1966 because 1966 Canadian trucks use the same (11 digit) VIN and Warranty Plate as US trucks.
