Sorry about that.....I guess I really don't understand what I'm looking for. If the nut is gone, do I replace the nut? Buy a new IPR? or what????


What does the nut do?

The tin nut holds the IPR together. Without it, or if it is loose, the solenoid will slop around and not control the plunger accurately. If not there, look carefully in the valley as it probably did not go far. It's a flimsy thing so don't over tighten. Drop of thread lock helps. The tin nut is available in the IPR Rebuild Kit.

Checked the IPR this morning....all is good there......the "nut" is on tight.


My CPS will be here today.......
