And just so we are clear, the starting procedure is
Turn Key on ... Wait for the WTS (Wait To Start) light to go off
Turn key to start for 20 seconds (Unless it starts)
Turn key off
Wait 2 minutes
Turn Key on ... Wait for the WTS (Wait To Start) light to go off
Turn key to start for 20 seconds (Unless it starts)
Turn key off
You may have to repeat this to get the air out, Batteries will run down, They need to be kept up.
Every time you leave it set more then a few hours it will drain the fuel back down and you will have to start all over again ... You've got to stick with it with good batteries until it starts.
It should run if it was parked running ... Why was it parked?
How much fuel is in the tanks, at least half full?
Know one has told him to hold the throttle peddle down all the way for all starting attempts, FYI,,,never change a fuel filter on a IDI when engine is not fully warm....HOLD THE PEDDLE ON FULL.
