I just realized today (only had the truck for two weeks) that the truck doesn't have the seatbelt reminder chime that all my other Fords have had when the belt is not connected. Why is that?

 

Maybe someone disconnected from under the seat like I did mine.

 

I should have stated the truck is a new 2016. Only warnings I have are door ajar when the door is open.

 

It was an available programming sequence in earlier year trucks. I disabled mine, not by unplugging the seatbelt harness, which may affect airbag deployment, but by following a certain sequence in the owners manual. Maybe your's has had it done? Check your owner's manual under Seatbelt Minder

 

That was the issue FordBlueHeart, somehow it was turned off from the factory or the dealer, either way it is now on.

 

Cool. I'm curious why you want it on?

 

I've never liked the seat belt alarm either. I know if it's on and don't need it to tell me.
