I have an '03 F250, 6.0 that I would like to disable the auto door lock feature on. I use this truck for work on my farm about half the time and everytime I need to get into the passengre side it is locked.......because I never remember to un-lock it.
Any idea how to disable this 'feature'? Will it affect warranty?
And, how about the annoying 'bell' when drivers seat belt isn't fastened? When driving from one pasture to the next I normally don't bother with seatbelt.
Funny, for three months now I've been asking every service department I visit if it is possible to disable these feature and spent countless hours on the internet researching it too. Didn't even dawned on me for a second to read the owners manual. THANKS!
Obviously Ford techs never read the owners manual either. They all said that it could not be done. LOL
