I just hooked up some hadley air horns to my truck last night. I tested the air compressor, solenoid, and switches and the system worked fine. I ran the compressor and solenoid power to the battery, disconnecting the battery cable to place the wire terminal under the existing battery cable. Because I didn't have time to install the swithches last night, I disconnected all electrical connection to continue today. This morning, I tried to start my truck and it would not start. The dash light is on for batteries. Because I disconnected the battery terminals, is that the problem? I checked them and they are on tight. I still do not have any power attached to the compressor or solenoid. Please advise.
Just returned from a business trip. Prior to leaving, I had the truck towed to the dealer. He replaced the crank sensor and a fuse box in the engine area. Service rep said I would have th bring the truck in later to get a replacement fuse box that Ford has out - (a recall issue?).
